MicrOpay Meridian Super in Detail Training
Introduction
The Superannuation in Detail course provides a comprehensive guide to setting up and processing superannuation in MicrOpay Meridian. In this course you will set up Superannuation Funds, Employer Contributions, Employee Contributions and the Interface Files.
Target Audience
Users who have are responsible for setting up and maintaining Superannuation in MicrOpay Meridian.
Prerequisite
Participants should be experienced in MicrOpay Meridian.
Objectives
On completition of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the difference between a Superannuation Fund and Superannuation Contributions, and be able to set up and modify Funds and Contributions.
- Identify different calculation methods available for Superannuation, including the calculation methods for Superannuation Guarantee exceptions.
- Understand how the payroll process affects superannuation calculations.
- Understand how superannuation is linked to the employee record.
- Set up salary sacrifice and deductions after tax for employee contributions.
- Set up, create and use the interface file.
